  • We are currently closed for Pick Your Own. We will be open again once the season starts in early December. We are still open weekdays for frozen sales from 8.00am to 5.00pm. Just pop in to our office up the hill. During the summer season, perfect for a great day out in the sun, pick your own berries or get some of our top quality fresh prepicked berries, then finish the day off with a fresh fruit ice-cream. The cost per $16 per kg. If you pick more than 10kg, the price is reduced to $14 per kg. We have a minimum pick of 500g for adults (12+).

We have a special rate for weekdays of $14 per kg and $12 if you pick over 10kg.

Pick Your Own Blueberries

Come and pick your own blueberries! We are open from early December until late February. The perfect activity for a family outing or for a day out in the sun. We offer pick your own in Ohaupo, Ngatea, Otautau and Waipu.

Blueberry Country specialises in providing pick your own berries. Come out and pick your own berries for very reasonable rates during our summer season that generally runs from early December to mid February. Outside the season contact us if you would like to purchase plants or frozen blueberries!

Pick the Best Berries

We always endeavour to pick in the heaviest fruiting fields of our orchard, meaning there will be plenty of berries for you to enjoy! Our fruit like all fruit, tastes best fresh off the bush. Come out, bring your family and friends and make it an outing.

We are happy for you to taste some blueberries while you pick, however please remember, it is not a free meal.

Enjoy a Delicious Real Fruit Ice-cream

After a long day of picking you can pop into our cafe and enjoy a blueberry ice-cream or frozen yogurt. Made with blueberries grown on our own orchards. Our premises are not licensed, Alcohol cannot be consumed in our cafes.

 

Pick your own Blueberries cost $16.00 per kg or $14.00 per kg when you pick over 10kg. We have a range of blueberry plants for sale for between $15 and $25. These are commercial varieties that perform well in our climate. Outside the season contact us if you would like to purchase plants or frozen blueberries.
