About Blueberry Country

Family owned and operated, Blueberry Country is New Zealand’s biggest blueberry orchard. We produce a range of blueberry products and have been operating for over forty years. Click here to find out more about our history and how we got to where we are today.

Blueberry Country is New Zealand’s Largest Blueberry Orchard with 400 acres (160 hectares) currently in production.

Blueberry Country is a family business that is based in Ohaupo in the beautiful and fertile Waikato. We have established Orchards in Ohaupo, Ngatea, Southland and have an orchard that is under development in Waipu (North of Auckland).

Come out during the summer season from early December through to late February and Pick Your Own Blueberries. You can enjoy a Blueberry icecream and a snack from our cafe.

Our head office and main processing facilities are located just 20 minutes south of Hamilton, the blueberries are grown, harvested, frozen and packed all on site.

Blueberry Country uses state of the art packing equipment developed by BBC Technologies.  This packing equipment enables greater control in processing.
